Trading Rats Parallel Syndicate is the fifth installment in the Cemetery Sitting series set in Seattle. It introduces new characters Haji and Amir, both IT professionals who find themselves in over their heads as they inadvertently leak information while stopping data breaches. FBI Special Agent Fred Ford takes on new cases that involve travel to Chicago and London and then returns to join the Parallel Syndicate Task Force.
The story also features the return of characters like Detective Jeffery Muncer and Detective Rubio, who investigate street crimes and work on cold cases as new criminal activity arises.
