As he handles collection cases, he makes an effort to help and get involved in the lives of those who owe. His wife, Martina, brings home her cousin from Connecticut, who is hiding his unsavory business practices behind the pretense of being jilted.
The return of characters like Detective Jeffery Muncer and Special Agent Fred Ford continues, as they investigate crimes on the street and at the crime scenes. Mr. Elliott manages to insert himself into issues like a drug ring, arson, and friendship.
