My favorite time of year. The lights and festivities although different this year are still something to be grateful for. Mary Bridge Festival of Trees has done colossal amount of work to still raise money for the hospital during this pandemic. A hospital that helps a tremendous number of children and their families at times of crisis and all the way down to routine medical needs. The staff is always caring, willing to listen and coordinate care no matter the diagnosis. The team of providers work together to support the patient and family as a whole for the best possible care.
As an author of children’s books, I wanted to give back to the community. Busy in Boots is about community, how it works and the importance of each member in their community. Sixty percent of the profit of each sale of Busy in Boots will go to Mary Bridge Children’s Oncology.
